The Emergency Medical Services Professions program prepares students for careers in paramedicine, one of the most fast-paced and challenging jobs in the industry. Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics provide immediate, life-saving care to patients, either as part of an emergency response system or non-emergency services. ACC offers all three levels of training: EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic.

Program Minimum Expectations
As a program, our goal is to "prepare competent entry-level Paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains," with or without exit points at the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, and/or Emergency Medical Technician (Basic), and/or First Responder levels.
