EMT-Basic Updates: The admissions requirements for EMT-Basic are changing. All changes will take effect for the EMT class starting in Fall of 2011. Please review these changes in the online information session. Changes include minimum testing scores in reading, writing and math. Specific information is found on the slide titled "Program Preparedness."

Intermediate and Paramedic Students Updates: The changes to admissions requirements for the intermediate and Paramedic applicant are in full effect. To review these requirements, please refer to the online information session slide titled "Program Preparedness." Minimum testing scores are listed. This information is also listed under the "Program Requirements" tab on the left side of this page.

The Emergency Medical Services Professions program prepares students for careers in paramedicine, one of the most fast-paced and challenging jobs in the industry. Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics provide immediate, life-saving care to patients, either as part of an emergency response system or non-emergency services. ACC offers all three levels of EMT training: Basic, Intermediate, and Paramedic.

Program preparedness requirements changed in October of 2010. These changes affect all incoming advanced level students. Please check your application to make sure it is in compliance with the changes. All changes are listed under the Program Preparedness slide in the information session.
