Health Information Technologists organize and evaluate patient records for completeness and accuracy. Graduates are eligible for careers in hospitals, clinics, physicians’ offices, health maintenance organizations, nursing homes, and insurance companies.

The HIM/HI (degree level) program is in Candidacy Status, pending accreditation review by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
