HIM Associate (Full-time)
Hospice Austin is looking for a full-time HIM Associate to ensure that all confidential patient information is processed, documented, and maintained in an efficient and accurate manner. The HIM Associate ensures completion of hospice certification and orders, assembles and analyzes new patient charts, and scans medical records. The hours of the position are Monday-Friday 8a to 5p. High school diploma or equivalent and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. One year clerical experience in a medical environment preferred.
After Hours Visit Nurse (Part-time)
Hospice Austin is looking for a RN to provide and coordinate nursing care to patients in the home care program and alternate living environments after hours. The After Hours Visit Nurse makes home visits at the direction of the triage nurse. The schedule for this part-time position is Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday from 5 pm to 10 pm and it will office out of Hospice Austin’s Christopher House. Texas RN license, CPR certification, Texas driver license, and a good driving record required.
Certified Nurse Aide (Full-time & PRN)
Hospice Austin is looking for 6 full time and 4 PRN Certified Nurse Aides. CNAs provide quality personal care to patients in our home care program and partnered facilities. Duties include bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, peri care, foley care/maintenance, performing patient transfers/turns, some homemaking duties like light housekeeping and meal prep. Active Texas CNA certification, reliable vehicle, driver license and good driving record required.
