Prerequisites for Medical Coding and AAS Degree

Take the following prerequisite classes before applying to the Health Information
Technology-Medical Coding Program:

HITT 1305/1005 Medical Terminology*
HITT 1301/1001 Health Data Content & Structure*
BIOL 2404 - Intro to Anatomy & Physiology*
BCIS 1305 - Business Computer Applications (required for AAS degree)

* Challenge exam available.

NOTE: A minimum combined GPA of 2.0 on the prerequisites is required for program eligibility.
