Prerequisites

Take the following prerequisite classes before applying to the Medical Coding Program:

HITT 1305/1005 Medical Terminology*
HITT 1301/1071 Health Data Content & Structure*
MDCA 1409/1009 or BIO 2404 Intro to Anatomy & Physiology*

* Challenge exam available.

NOTE: A minimum combined GPA of 2.7 on the prerequisites is required for program eligibility.
