Admission to the college does not guarantee admission to the Medical Laboratory Technology program. In order to be eligible for admission into the program, the applicant must: complete and submit an application for the MLT program, meet all requirements for admission to ACC, and meet with a MLT faculty advisor.
The courses in the first three semesters must be completed before starting the Medical Laboratory Courses. This includes the Phlebotomy course, which has a separate application that must be submitted.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate good eye-hand coordination, finger dexterity, visual acuity, communication skills, and physical and emotional health for admission. Admission is non-discriminatory in regard to race, creed, sex, age, handicap or national origin.
