| Occupational therapy assistants, under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists, help patients of all ages with physical, emotional, social, and developmental disabilities engage in activities of daily living, educational, vocational, and leisure skills. Graduates are eligible to work in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, special schools, mental health facilities, private practices, and nursing homes.
