Welcome to the Physical Therapist Assistant Department
To apply to the Physical Therapist Assistant Program, please create an account with Castle Branch (formerly Certified Profile). You will need to use code UL64im and upload your immunizations. Then when you are ready to upload your documents, you will use code UL81im.
Due to conflicting information on the PTA website, the application deadline for 2016 has been extended from March 31st to Monday, May 2nd. All forms that cannot be uploaded to Certified Profile need to be at the Health Sciences office by close of business on May 2nd.

 

The Physical Therapist Assistant is an important member of the dynamic profession of physical therapy. Physical therapist assistants work under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist to rehabilitate people from injury or disease by improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing further injury. The Physical Therapist Assistant participates as a member of the healthcare team to make it possible for patients to participate in life to its fullest.

Department Announcements
All students that have not been accepted into an ACC Health Sciences program should declare Associate of Science in Pre-Health Sciences for their major. Once accepted into a program, the students major will be updated.

Attention PTA Applicants - Whether you attend an In-Person Information Session or did the On-Line Session. Completion of the On-Line post test under the "Verification" tab is required. Print and sign the PTHA Information Session Completion form and upload it to your Castle Branch (formerly Certified Profile) account using the code UL81im.
