Cardiovascular Interventional Technology is an advanced credential for Radiologic Technologists who are looking to go the next step in their careers. This modality is a fast paced, high energy career option for those dedicated to helping others beat heart disease, the number one cause of death in the United States.

As a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiographer you will perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures alongside skilled cardiologists and nurses. You will help diagnose and treat a myriad of life threatening cardiac diseases, to include helping save the lives of people who are suffering from acute myocardial infarction.

Upon successful completion of this program you will be able to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists national certification exam. The CI credential will enable you to qualify for positions in Cardiac catheterization laboratories nationwide.
