Cardiovascular Interventional Technology is an advanced credential for Radiologic Technologists who are looking to take the next step in their careers. This modality is a fast paced, high energy career option for those dedicated to helping others beat heart disease, the number one cause of death in the United States.

As a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiographer you will perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures alongside skilled interventional cardiologists and nurses. You will help diagnose and treat a myriad of life threatening cardiac and peripheral diseases, to include helping save the lives of people who are suffering from acute myocardial infarctions (heart attacks).

Upon successful completion of this program you will be eligible for the national certification exam, the Cardiac Interventional Radiography exam, offered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. The CI credential will enable you to qualify for positions in Cardiac catheterization laboratories nationwide.

This certificate program requires three contiguous semesters and ONLY begins in the fall. There is no spring or summer admittance.
