Testing Logistics

  1. Must make a minimum score of 75% on each graded test section (Math, Reading, and A&P) in order to pass the test. There are SIX tests total to complete. (Three are not graded and are used for diagnostic purposes but all six tests must be taken.)
  2. Students can repeat the test ONLY if they score under 75% on a required test section. Only one repeat is allowed for the failed section. If a student fails the test on the second attempt, they must wait one calendar year in order to retest.** Students are encouraged to purchase the HESI Admission Study guide: Click here and then click on Admission Assessment Preparation link.
  3. For additional help with the A & P section, the biology department has put together some helpful web sites.  Click here to see the list.
