Priority Words

Clues to look for:

1. The words and phrases below strictly limit your answer. If it says "best" it
means exactly that. It forces you to rank or prioritize your answer.

2. The test author has most likely used an answer option that is very close, but not the best answer. If you are
unable to find the best, then work backwards to eliminate lower priority responses.

3. When you find yourself adding conditions to one of the answers or adding details that are not provided you
are probably reading into the question.

4. Test questions always provide all of the information that you need to answer the question.
