About the HESI-PN Exit Exam:

The HESI Exit Exam® is a comprehensive computerized exam that should be administered at the conclusion of the nursing curriculum. The same test blueprint is used to design the exams as is used by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing for the NCLEX®.

A proprietary mathematical model, known as the HESI Predictability Model (HPM), is used to determine students' probability of passing the NCLEX®. In a study by Lauchner, Newman, and Britt (Computers in Nursing, May-June, 1999), the HESI Exit Exam® was found to be 99.49% accurate in predicting a student's success on the licensing exam.

Preparing for the HESI-PN Exit Exam:

Approach the HESI-PN Exit Exam as if it were the licensure examination.

Get plenty of rest.
