Helpdesk Technician

Peggy Goodwin

Peggy Goodwin started working at Austin Community College as an hourly on the Registration helpline.

In April 2007, she was hired as a fulltime Helpdesk Technician.

Peggy has a Bachelors degree in History for Sam Houston State University. She currently holds a valid Texas Teaching Certificate in History, Social Studies, ESL, and Secondary Reading. Peggy earned a Masters degree in Instructional Media Technology from Missouri State University.

Besides her ACC experience on the registration helpline, Peggy taught Social Studies for 8 years in the Manor and Corsicana school districts. She was also the first level technical support for the Excel campus in Manor ISD.

As part of the IMT Masters program, Peggy was exposed to a wide variety of software including advanced uses of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. She also was introduced to Snagit, Camtasia Studio, Windows Movie Maker, iMovie, and Final Cut Pro.
