Outgoing Mail Server
Choosing the correct outgoing mail server is very important if you want to be able to SEND
mail from your computer. The server to use depends on where you are physically located and who
is providing your Internet Service (your ISP).
On the ACC Campuses, using ACC’s Dialup modem service, or ACC’s Virtual
Private Network (VPN), the Outgoing Mail Server should be: mail.austincc.edu
If you are using another ISP, then you should use the Outgoing Mail Server that your
ISP recommends. From the local ISP’s that we’ve researched, here is the list
of outgoing servers that they recommend on their websites:
