Setting Email Message Priority
What a priority setting on an email message does:
- Notifies the receiver of how important the sender considers the message
What a priority setting on an email message does not
do:
- Does not cause higher priority messages to be delivered to recipients
more quickly.
- Does not cause higher priority messages to be delivered to email
inboxes that are full and can't receive more messages.
- Does not delete or overwrite old or lower priority messages so that
high priority messages can be delivered.
