Finding Email Message Headers in
Outlook Express
and MS Outlook

Outlook Express

  1. Right Click on the message in your inbox.  Select Properties.
     


  2. Click on the Details tab and then click on the Message Source button. 


  3. Copy the Message Headers in the Message Source Window by selecting all the text and either pressing Ctrl-C or selecting Copy from the Edit Menu. Paste it into the Message Header Field of the Email Blocking Form.
     

  4. Copy the Message Body in the Message Source Window by selecting all the text and either pressing Ctrl-C or selecting Copy from the Edit Menu. Paste it into the Message Body Field of the Email Blocking Form.

MS Outlook

  1. Right Click on the message in your inbox.  Select Options.


     

  2. Copy the Message Headers in the Message Source Window by selecting all the text and either pressing Ctrl-C or selecting Copy from the Edit Menu. Paste it into the Message Header Field of the Email Blocking Form.  When you are done, click on Close.
     

  3. If the Preview Pane is not visible in your Outlook Window, you can select Preview Pane from the View Menu. If you prefer, you can double on the message to open a seperate message window.

     

  4. Copy the Message Body in the Message Source Window by selecting all the text and either pressing Ctrl-C or selecting Copy from the Edit Menu. Paste it into the Message Body Field of the Email Blocking Form.
