Help Center for Faculty & Staff
The ACC Help Center is the central point of contact between all ACC faculty, staff and all ACC
Information Technology personnel. The Help Desk is here to track and log all problems, questions, and
concerns from the ACC community regarding computers, computer networking, ACC Web Applications and telecommunications. If you are having problems with
anything even remotely related to your computer or telephone, please contact the ACC Help Desk prior to
approaching any ACC Microcomputer Technician.
Help Center for Students
The The ACC Help Center assists ACC students with a variety of problems including: ACCeID
and ACCmail activation and login issues, Blackboard and ACC wireless issues.
If you are experiencing a problem or have a question about these ACC programs,
contact the Help Center at 223-4636 or submit a Help Request . The ACC Help Center
is also the first point of telephone contact for Admissions and Records, the Cashiers
offices,
Financial Aid,
Distance Learning, Registration and 1098t questions
and.
If the Help Center Technicians cannot answer your questions or assist you with your
problem, they will put you in touch with someone who can assist you.
New Alerts
E-Staffing Application Changes.
On August 30, 2011, programming will
move e-Staffing changes to the LIVE system.
Faculty will be able to view certain parts of the new application,
however, they will not be able to enter teaching preferences until the
scheduled date: 09/09/11
ESET Anti-Virus Software Update
ACC Moves from using Symantec to ESET
for Anti-Virus/Malware/Spyware
ACC has discontinued its
licensing of Symantec Endpoint
Protection. After careful consideration
ACC has purchased licensing from ESET
NOD32 4.2 enterprise anti-virus that
will replace Symantec for both Windows
and MAC OSX. Symantec will still
continue to push virus definitions to
college clients running Endpoint
Protection during this transitional
period.
