Ms. Hirsh designed the Directed Physical Fitness Doncepts course for students who are involved with changing schedules throughout the semester due to clinicals and demanding jobs. You get to set your own workout schedule and workout at the Riverside gymnasium. Check the Physical Fitness Concepts web page for detailed information.
 
For those interested in personal health, Ms. Hirsh teaches an online Personal Health class. All the assignments are online; check it out. She has been teaching everything from golf to aerobics for many years; it's what keeps her young at heart. Ms. Hirsh's philosophy and enthusiasm for fitness can be summed up in one word, "Wellness": finding balance in your life through exercise, proper nutrition, enjoyment and participation in the arts, family, and community. Her advice to all college students is take your time and enjoy your college years and try as many activities and subjects as you can.
