Online Orientation
Greetings KINE 1304 Class:

Welcome to Personal Health on-line. I hope you enjoy learning about personal health issues through the use of your computer this semester.

Check out this information to see if it will help you with distance learning and see if this is the right class for you: Passport to Success

Purchase your text right away; the only ACC location this text will be available to you is at the ACC Rio Grande bookstore, not the other ACC bookstores. It may be available at other bookstores such as Bevos but be sure to have the proper hard copy text (ISBN 007340-4616) and access code (007725-7405) to Connect McGraw-Hill , type in a search for Your Health Today, brief with Connect Personal Health. You also will find an option to purchase access to the ebook called Connect Plus (online only-007733-9215) as well as the necessary code(included with the prior ISBN) to access Connect , there is a connection from this course registration site to purchase access as well as registrar in the Connect site from this link. Bookmark this site to continue to access Connect. Be sure you are going to be comfortable with an online version versus a written text. It is very cool though; you can highlight information as you read it and write notes and you read. It is cheaper too. Connect is where you will do your assignments online. Do NOT register in the wrong section; you MUST registers in the appropriate section you signed up for: either the 16 Week course or the 12 Week course. You will be removed from the course if registered in the wrong one and have to contact McGraw-Hill to attempt to get anothe access code; a code can only be used one time. The 12 week section will not be available to register for until closer to the date the course is to start; please be patient.
