 The consideration for selection to HPTH status is:
AR 4.06.001.3.A defines this as: “Members of the Adjunct Faculty, whose summary teaching evaluations, when last evaluated, were very good or excellent in all categories and who receive an acceptable evaluation with respect to administrative procedures may be considered for the HPTH designation.”

The selection for HPTH status is based on:
 
1.   Student evaluation scores in the “Excellent” category or very close to it.

2.   Active participation in History Department activities

3.   No sustained complaint against the person by students or the College

4.   All other qualifications being equal, the person with the earliest ACC History Department faculty hiring date would be given preference
