Application Information

Admission to the Honors Program is separate from admission to Austin Community College.  Students are invited to join on the basis of criteria set each year by the Honors Coordinator.

The goal of the criteria is to produce a Program membership of the top 8-10 percent of the students entering ACC each semester.

Since intellectual motivation is a significant factor in determining academic success, those who fall slightly short of test-score criteria but who wish to undertake the challenge may be admitted at the discretion of the Honors Coordinator.

Application Instructions

Open and complete the file below.  When you are finished, click the "Submit" button to submit your application electronically to the Honors Program Office.  If you utilize a web client for your e-mail account, please select the appropriate option when prompted in order to save your Honors application to your desktop and attach it in a message to honors@austincc.edu.*

Entrance criteria requiring additional proof (high school or other college transcripts, test scores, etc.) may be requested if this information is not currently on file with Austin Community College.

*PLEASE NOTE*: Pressing "Submit" does NOT automatically submit your application.  If you are not prompted to select an e-mail account after you press "Submit," simply save the document and send it via attachment using an e-mail account of your choosing (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) to honors@austincc.edu.
