Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Ammendments Act of 2008The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Amendments Act of 2008 is a federal civil rights law that prohibits the exclusion of people with disabilities from everyday activities. The ADAAA requires that employers provide “reasonable accommodation” to otherwise qualified disabled workers, so that they are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs.
