Employee Responsibilities under The Family and Medical Leave Act
- 30 days notice for foreseeable leave should be given wherever possible
- Medical certification may be required to be returned within 15 calendar days from receipt
- Medical re-certification every 30 days may be required for prolonged illnesses
- To accurately track FMLA absences on etime, use FMLA/sick, FMLA/vac, FMLA/parental, or FMLA/unpaid
