In our continuous efforts to make the best possible health options available to our employee’s Austin Community College will offer employees a menu of additional elective plans through (AFLAC) American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus.

AFLAC programs fill in the gaps of major medical coverage and pay directly to you above and beyond your medical insurance.

AFLAC plans:

• Are portable – they can be continued on a non-payroll basis
  at the same group rate upon termination
• Are pre-taxed – saving you tax dollars on the premiums

AFLAC programs help with:

• Out of pocket expenses
• Loss of earning power
• Expenses not covered by other insurance
