With the growth of the college, the need for services available online has grown. Students, Faculty, and staff all have a need to use ACC's website in various manners outside of Datatel's Web Advisor or static web pages. ACC currently has an Online Services committee and a Web committee. The Online Services committee deals with updates and enhancements to Datatel's Web Advisor. Web Committee is charged with the design and content of ACC's website. Since these committees are similar with their purpose to provide online services, we recommend merging them to become more efficient and cohesive. We need one committee to set standards for design, content, workflow and documentation of any and all online services provided on any ACC website. The current Online Services Committee and Web Committee would remain as work groups. They would still work on projects that would eventually be presented to the ACC Web Advisory Committee for approval.
