ACC Academy Application and Selection Process

Complete and sign the 2008-2009 ACC Academy Application (PDF) with the following attachments:

• Letter of interest addressing your long-range professional goals
• Resume
• Two letters of endorsement – one from a supervisor and one from someone you feel can address your potential for participation in the academy
• Two years of annual reviews

Have your Supervisor sign the application

Submit your application to ACC Human Resources Department, ATTN:  Professional Development & Evaluation by Friday, June 13, 2008.

By June 26, the ACC Academy Committee will review the applications and will forward their recommendations to the President's Leadership Team (PLT).

The PLT will review applications and make final selections during the month of July.

Selected candidates will be notified on August 1, 2008.

The 2008-2009 ACC Academy class will be introduced during the Fall General Assembly.

The kick-off retreat will be Friday, September 19, 2008 at the Round Rock Higher Education Center.
