Changes to Spring Development Dayspring dev. day, jan. 15, 2010

ACC’s Spring Development Day, scheduled for Friday, January 15, 2010, will be hosting professional development workshops at HBC all day long instead of the college-wide meeting usually held in the morning. Workshops will run from 9am-10:30am, 10:45am-12:15pm, 1:30pm-3:00pm, and 3:15pm-4:45pm.

If you or anyone in your area would like to offer a workshop that day, please contact the Professional Development Office at 223-7997 or email Nicole Bell at nbell2@austincc.edu. Workshop enrollment will begin on December 10th, at which point you can go to http://www.austincc.edu/hr/profdev/events/springdevday/jan10/ to view workshop listings.

It’s course evaluation time!

paperworkThe bright pink Fall course evaluation packages will be mailed out the first week of November. Faculty should look for a yellow page with student instructions that will be placed in mail boxes along with bright pink course evaluation packets. To obtain the most accurate evaluation data, faculty should go over these instructions with the student monitor.  Remind them that black ball point pens are best to fill out the evaluations (blue pen will work, pencil will not scan).

To see new evaluation instructions for student monitor go to:
www.austincc.edu/hr/eval/documents/ClassClimate2009StudentMonitorInstructions.pdf

To see your evaluation window periods go to:
www.austincc.edu/hr/eval/calendars.php

Please read the instructions in the pink envelope. If you have any questions please contact us and send a request for information at:
