Awareness
What constitutes a disability? What is a reasonable accommodation and
who determines what is reasonable? Who pays for accommodations that
involve renovations or equipment? These and other issues are discussed
in this seminar. A refresher course is required every 2 years for
all employees.

Adding Visual Impact to Web and Print
Enhance your web and print materials using simple visual design techniques
and principles. In addition, participants will learn how to effectively
access and utilize graphics, as well as choosing between software tools.

Interactive Video Classroom (IVC): Advanced Topics
This hands-on workshop gives ACC faculty an opportunity to deliver
IVC instruction. Faculty will operate IVC equipment and deliver a sample
presentation utilizing IVC equipment. The instructional presentation
will be made during a simulated Interactive Video Classroom session.

Teleconference: Information Literacy for the 21st Century Learner
Viewers of Information Literacy for the 21st Century Learner will:
1) Understand the relationship between information literacy and success
in making the transition from high school to community college, especially
for at-risk students; 2) Understand the importance of assessment in
determining information literacy skills; 3) Understand the benefits
of high school and college collaboration on information literacy training;
4) Become aware of a range of information literacy toolkit resources
and 5) Learn how to adapt toolkit resources to their environment.
