person at computerPerformance Excellence Program 2009 (PEP) News

The Performance Excellence Program (PEP) form has been revised by the Evaluation Committee and changes were approved by the Administrative Services Committee in March 2009. We also are in the process of making the PEP a fully automated process. The first step toward this goal is being implemented this Spring.

How has PEP process changed? Is the employee required to complete a self-evaluation? What's the timeline? Answers to these questions and more can be found here.

Funded by a Perkins Leadership grant, the Network is an innovative way to connect to free, online professional development resources for career and technical education faculty, counselors, and administrators. Search easily through hundreds of topics and teaching modules at http://txpod.org/ to enhance your skills. It's all in one free, easy to use site created by a partnership of community college professionals from across the state.

The Network is not only free but also provides a portfolio function so that you may store your professional development activity completions.  In addition, you may print off completion certificates to provide to your supervisor for entry into the Professional Development Workshop & Event Registration Database.
