ACC provides a variety of support services for its adjunct faculty. By taking advantage of these support services, you will enhance your teaching experience and expand your students' educational experiences.

Computing Resources

Computing Resources are available to you as faculty in the adjunct offices at each campus. Those locations are listed below:

You may also use the computers in the campus computer labs. Keep in mind that classes have first priority for use, but when no class is scheduled in those labs, they are available for student and faculty use.


Professional Development Activities & Resources

Professional Development provides an opportunity for classroom skill enhancement and increased knowledge in a specific academic discipline.Click here to learn about the Professional Development Program at ACC. Adjunct Faculty hired after the beginning of the fiscal year must complete one (1) clock hour of professional development activities per month of service. This equates to two hours per semester for adjunct faculty. Click here to access the professional development requirements guidelines for adjunct faculty.

Throughout the academic year, your Department Chair will probably offer you various professional development activities that you will want to attend. Faculty Evaluation Overview

EvaluationThe purpose of the Faculty and Staff Evaluation Office is to provide a system for the appraisal, development and documentation of all faculty and staff performance. Student evaluations of the faculty are conducted during the fall semester of each year.

In addition, evaluations are also conducted during the spring semester for instructors who were not evaluated during the fall semester or who desire an additional evaluation. Furthermore, supervisors may request a subsequent evaluation for faculty members.

Information Technology

The Office of Information Technology (IT) provides services and support to the academic and administrative areas of ACC. Specifically, you as an adjunct member will benefit from IT support.
