Organizational Structure

Organizational ChartACC operates within a "One-College" concept. In order for that concept to work, ACC's internal structure is built around various levels of individuals responsible for supervising and supporting the important work of educating students.

The administrators described in this section are not all of the administrators functioning at ACC. This discussion is limited to those individuals most closely aligned with academic affairs and academic support services. Click here to see an expanded picture of the administrative structure.

Understanding individuals' responsibilities at ACC is important to you as you carry out your own teaching responsibilities. As an adjunct faculty member, your immediate supervisor is the Department Chair. Your Department Chair is supervised by his or her Academic or Workforce Dean. Working with your Dean may be an Assistant Dean. In addition to Academic and Workforce Deans, ACC has deans for student services on the campuses. Above the deans are the Vice Presidents and Associate Vice Presidents of ACC.
