She patiently listened to my predicament, advised what she would do, did it expeditiously and followed up as promised! Wow! She quickly assumed the task of faxing a lengthy court document with willingness and a refreshing positive attitude! Although faxed previously, the document was immediately faxed to the court again where an ACCPD Lieutenant waited for an eminent court hearing. "Hope is the administrative assistant for Developmental Communications but she voluntarily takes care of facutly from English, Speech, Foreign Language, and Journalism. In addition Hope maintains an adjunct faculty office which is used by all acadmic and workforce faculty. She assigns file cabinet drawers and issues keys to the adjunct faculty. But most importantly, she is a jewel that way she deals with students. Hope is beyond the sum of the above categories; she is a living legend on the NRG Campus. "Go ask Hope" has saved many a student and instructor time and effort. Always pleasant with a smile and greeting by name. She is always kind with cake and compliments. Hope is competent if you need a key, a fax, location of an event or a class. Hope is never too busy to give you her immediate attention. Thank Goodness for Hope! Hope's ability to manage enormous amounts of information and materials efficiently makes her a valued resource for students, faculty, staff and all of the people she helps (beyond the call of duty). Her cheerful, upbeat, and cooperative outlook make our workplace a welcoming place to be. Thank you Hope!

"Stephanie Rocks! Last week, after I administered a final exam to my class at EVC, I was driving down Pleasant Valley Road on my way back to RGC when other driver ran a red light and slammed into me. I needed to give two more exams that day at RGC, but my car was being towed away and I had a large satchel of exams and paperwork that needed to get to RGC soon. I called Stephanie at the RGC Media Center (one of the top numbers programmed into my cell phone) and she offered to come pick me up and bring me back to RGC. If she hadn't done that, I would have been stranded and I wouldn't have made it to RGC to give my students their exams. I was relieved. Stephanie was remarkably helpful and maintained that pleasant personality she always has.
It's certainly not the first time Stephani has helped me. She makes me feel good about being at RGC."

Constance has served as math/matd chairperson for a number of years, providing exemplary leadership in the largest, most challenging department. The math/science dean has even commented that her job is the most difficult at ACC. Dr. Elko is a tireless worker for employees and students alike. She is always available often speaking to facutly and staff from home at night and weekends. She is a great mentor, colleague and friend. Constance is the only math facutly member in years who has been willing to take on the tremendous task of Math Department Chair for more than one consecutive year, and she does so only for the sake of ACC, our students, and faculty. She is one of the College's greatest assets and conducts her duties promptly and graciously, even when facing adversity, which happens quite often in our large department."

She has always worked closely with Pam Collier anticipating a solving a multitude of problems small to gigantic. Her research and problem solving abilities continues to amaze me on so many different levels. I don't think any one person knows really how much you do as not only support but as a guiding force-quiet, behind the scenes but deadly accurate and spot on 10.5 times out of 10. Deanna is so appreciated, so loved and so incredibly good at what she does.”

“ Charles' work has gone beyond exceptional throughout the entire Cypress building and renovation process. He has packed, moved, unpack, and reorganized lab equipment and supplies for all Biology labs, not only once, but twice. He worked with and around contractors and repair persons while managing to keep the labs operational. he served on hiring committees to select employees for new lab assistant positions. He did all this in addition to his regular prep work, planning and duties. Charles had demonstrated exemplary team work and dedication to the college, his colleagues, our faculty, and our students. ”

“Nick has introduced new courses and methods of delivery for our department including introduction of new mortgage banking program courses, introduction of new IVC and PCM instructional delivery of courses-previously not available and introduction of 2 and 4 week real estate courses combined with continuing education in order to better serve the real estate department. Nick does not expect standards and/or behavior that he is not willing to do. During the SACS re-certification process in the past few years he has willingly and cheerfully took real estate brokerage classes along side his professors in the department. Nick is consistently fair in his dealings with department professors. He stimulates our active participation in advisory meetings by all professors. He reminds us that no one of us has "domination of good ideas". He fairly schedules classes according to ACC rules, professor abilities and experience, as well as department need. ”

“Warren is the ‘go-to’ guy at Cypress. He manages our phones and computers. He works tirelessly to keep our email service, personal computers, faxes, printers, and phone service available to us. Cypress has been in the midst of construction for several semesters. Warren has worked nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure that faculty and staff would be ready and able to serve students from day one of the spring, summer and fall semesters.
