The ACC Wellness Program provides ACC employees with information, opportunities, and inspiration to develop a more vital and healthier life. On the left side of this page are links that will guide you to information about various wellness topics. Check out the Wellness Calendar or the Upcoming Events page to find healthy happenings in Austin or on an ACC campus near you. For example, take the Walk Texas! Challenge. Info about this 10-week walking program and upcoming events are below.

wellness collage Employees can take fitness and nutrition classes free using a voucher, and all wellness workshops offered through Professional Development are free. If you are intererested in finding support with a partner or team, you might want to join a wellness team or seek out a partner on the ACC wellness discussion forum.

WALK TEXAS! . . . TAKE THE 10-WEEK CHALLENGE

WalkTexas! is a 10-week program designed to help you begin or maintain an active lifestyle. For 10 weeks, participants of WalkTexas! record their daily/weekly physical activity, which converts to points depending on the time, duration and intensity of the activity. At the end of the program, different awards are given to everybody who reaches certain point levels.
