ARTS 2316 Painting I
Development of painting skills, techniques, and aesthetic sensibilities related to artistic expression in oil and/or acrylic mediums. Emphasis on color and composition.

PREREQUISITES: ARTS 1316 Drawing I or departmental approval.

ARTS 2317 Painting II
A continuation of Painting I with emphasis on development of independent problem solving and style in composition: figure, landscape, portrait painting, and still life.

PREREQUISITES: ARTS 2316 or department approval.
