The "i am acc" project began in 2007, giving students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and supporters an opportunity to share their experiences at Austin Community College.
It has brought hundreds of people together on one website and showcases the amazing diversity, breadth, and depth of the ACC community through stories of inspiration, heart, and humor.
With a single question: "What positive impact has ACC had on your life?", their responses weave the collective narrative of ACC's mission and legacy.
Some individuals have been highlighted in billboards, print, and TV advertising. All of the faces are of real people, their stories are true, and their smiles are nothing less than genuine.
The next phase of the "i am acc" project will continue to celebrate the accomplishments and successes of ACC students, alumni, and friends, and encourage others to add to the rich tapestry that makes up the ACC community.
