Pathways into higher education for adults not yet ready for college
Austin Community College’s foundation programs open doors to higher education. A growing number of Central Texans lack the academic skills they need in order to seek higher education and training.
Foundation programs assist individuals not yet “college-ready” by providing Adult Basic Education, GED Preparation, English as a Second Language, and Developmental Reading, Writing, and Math.
Many foundation students choose to enter college for further education and training - including up to 50 percent of ACC’s GED Prep graduates.
