Austin Community College had an amazing impact on my life! It was there that I matured, learned to appreciate the value of education, and where I gained the confidence to pursue my dreams. Twenty-five years ago, as a 20- year old single parent, ACC was exactly what I needed. It provided a strong academic foundation, one that prepared me for UT Austin, where I ultimately attended graduate school. The two degrees proudly displayed in my office are my Associates of Arts from ACC and my Ph.D. from UT.
