I graduated from high school 13 years ago and had worked in the banking industry since then. I decided that I wasn't happy or fulfilled in my position. Even though the money was great it wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I knew I wanted to give back to the community and I had a passion for teaching. I love working with children and decided to quit my job and pursue a more fulfilling career. I decided to go to ACC and get started on the dream. I am currently working as a full-time nanny and taking classes at night to get to that goal of becoming an elementary teacher. ACC has flexible class schedules to make it easy to take what fits right for me. It is going to take me a while to get my degree but I am on my way to making that happen.
