ACC was always my first choice. I graduated from Johnston High (class of 2008) with honors and big plans to become an Austin police officer and eventually— a detective. Getting a scholarship from the ACC Foundation was incredible, but I’m not alone. Every year hundreds of ACC students get scholarships, and get a shot at their dreams. Hopefully I can become a positive role model to the younger kids in my community. That’s my goal.
