For a very long time I was intimidated about continuing my education. While ACC has provided a starting point at a pace I can handle, it has done much more. The counselors have encouraged me to set high goals. The teachers have provided positive feedback on developing my skills so that I can be prepared for transferring to a University. The college provides plentiful resources: libraries, student activity areas, career counselors, developmental courses, financial assistance, scholarships, a Learning Lab with knowledgeable assistants and computer access, clubs and organizations, and access to the Phi Theta Kappa honors society. Because of the resources, teachers, and counselors, I know what I want to do: Peace and Conflict Resolution; I want to join the Peace Corps; I want to work in U.S. Embassies, and someday I want to become a Professor. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to build a strong foundation for continuing my education. I appreciate it.
