You can enhance your INTERNET "SURFING" if you use SEARCH ENGINES. There is a broad selection available on the Web. I prefer the free ones. Take a look at these, they are some of the best.

DOGPPILE http://www.dogpile.com Start here. This web site searches many of the top search engines and gives the top matches. It is the best and will save you time.

GOOGLE http://www.google.com

HOTBOT http://www.hotbot.com

Wired magazine puts all kinds of possibilities into this site. This is probably my personal favorite. Check it out!

LYCOS http://www.lycos.com

Lycos can search the whole Web. It can also look for images and sound. You can even track your UPS package on this site. A very good site.

METACRAWLER http://www.metacrawler.com

This site has all kinds of information. It lets you spy on other Web surfers and gives you the weather report. An interesting place to visit.

MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER http://www.microsoft.com/ie

Explorer is available for free download.

MICROSOFT NETWORK http://www.msn.com

It offers plenty of information, from Entertainment Tonight to finding a movie or checking out your favorite stocks.

SNAP ONLINE http://www.snap.com

Snap is a good starting point for Surfers.

SWITCHBOARD http://www.switchboard.com

Want to find someone? This site compiles the nation's telephone numbers.

YAHOO http://www.yahoo.com

Yahoo is probably the best known site for online searches. It is one of my favorites. There is also a Yahoo Austin so you can find all types of local information.
