Study Spanish in Argentina's second largest city, Cordoba. Locationed in the center of the country, Cordoba offers everything from colonial architecture to fashionable hot spots to beautiful nature in the surrounding mountains, lakes, and rivers.

Spanish II / SPAN 1512

Prerequisite
Complete the following by Spring 2009: Spanish I / SPAN 1511or equivalent credit by examiniation

Dates
-3 days of class in Austin prior to departure: May 19, 20, 21
-Students depart Austin May 30.
-Class in Argentina starts June 1. Last class day is July 1.
-Students depart Cordoba on July 2. (Have option to stay in Argentina.)

Passport
Apply for your passport immediately. Do not procrastinate.

Program Fee
$1380, double occupancy; $1555, single occupancy

Free "Castellano" prep class

Flight
Students will make their own flight arrangements or contact International Programs Staff for assistance with flight arrangements. Students must arrive at the airport in Cordoba, Argentina by a designated da and time. Students who would like to arrive before the program starts or stay after the program ends may be able to stay with their host family for an additional fee.

Accommodations
Students will stay with host famlies. Two meals a day will be provided, as well as laundry service.

Meals
The majority of meals are included in the program fee, however students will be responsible for preparing/cooking or buying one daily meal for themselves.
