Mesoamerican Archaeology Study Tour

Earn 9 hours of college credit for archaeology and cultural anthropology while studying and traveling in the Yucatan Peninsula of south/eastern Mexico, Belize and Guatemala.

Dates Classes in Austin from May 23-June 3.
Classes in the Yucatan from June 5-June 19.
Description Earn 9 hours of college credit for archaeology and cultural anthropology while studying and traveling in the Yucatan Peninsula of south/eastern Mexico, Belize and Guatemala.

Accommodations Multiple-occupancy hotel. Student will a share a hotel room with other ACC students.
Activities and Other Program Features

Site visits and tours include: Oxkintoch / Uxmal, Ek Balam / Izamal, Rio Bec, Calakmul, Progresso, Beach, Magical Mystery Tour: Cenotes.

Program Fee

$1,900 includes Round Trip Air Fair (Austin to Merida, Yucatan) + Ground Transportation + 14 nights in Hotels (Multiple Occupancy) + All Scheduled Museum and Site Entrance Fees + Faculty Transportation and ½ Faculty Housing

Does not include ACC course tuition/fees, Books and Field Materials; International Student ID; Food/Drink/Gifts; Passport; Transportation to/from Airports.

Spots available 10 out of 10
Deadline to apply February 28, 2011. However, applicants will be interviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Acceptance Policy Students will be selected based on interview.
