Reciprocal exchange programs
These are collaborations between ACC and international universities in specific countries. In some cases, students can pay tuition and fees as if they were in attendance at ACC or upon return receive ACC credit after submitting official transcripts from the partner school. Our current reciprocal programs are listed below.

GERMANY
Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals
- Full-Year Scholarship in Germany
- Inclues round-trip transatlantic flight, university tuition, language training, living stipend, program-related travel costs in Germany, and health/accident insurance
- Two months of German language training
- One semester of study at a German university
- Five-month internsihp in a german-speaking work environment
- Accomodation in a German home or student residence
- Orientation, midyear, and final evaluation seminars
- Assistance provided throughout the year by a network of regional offices in Germany
- German language skills are NOT required
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident between the ages of 18-24
- Must have an interest in German and international affairs
- Must have clear career goals with some relevant work experience

Work Immersion Study Program in Germany Summer 2008
Apply to the Work Immersion Study Program (WISP) and spend 3 months in beautiful German. Learn about the German culture and economy, gain valuable work experience, and make friendships that will last a lifetime. THe program consists of a 1-month German language course at the Carl Duisberg Centrum and a 2-month internship with a German host company. International airfare between New York and Germany, a monthly stipend and housing are also provided through this scholarship program.
Eligibility:
- enrolled community college student
- between the ages of 18 and 27
- major in business, liberal arts, or technical field
- has at least taken one semester of German
- hast studied at a community college for at least 1 year
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Third Party Providers and other study abroad programs
ACC does not pre-approve credits earned through outside study abroad programs. To guarantee credit and financial aid, students must attend an officially approved ACC faculty-led program. For more information on non-ACC approved study abroad programs, please contact the International Programs Office.
