Airport Welcome and Transfer
The onsite coordinator will greet students and instructor at the airport and take them to their accommodations. The coordinator will briefly orient students to their neighborhood.
On-site Orientation
-Orientation introduces students to the city, culture, and academic life. Topics such as getting around Barcelona, exchanging money, safety, learning and practicing Spanish and meeting locals are covered.
-A walking tour of Barcelona with an experience tour guide will be part of the orientation. Students will learn about the history of Barcelona. The tour requires 3-4 hours of walking.
Medical Insurance
Students will have coverage while in Spain and should they choose to travel to other parts of Europe, through the provider CMI.

Metro Pass (T-Mes)
Available for 50 euro. Unlimited travel on public transportation. The pass is good for 30 days.
Figueres Dali Museum Tour
-Saturday day trip to Figueres, with a guide who will teach students about the life and art of Dali. Figueres is the hometown of Dali.
-Transportation and guide are included
Girona and Costa Brava Roman Ruins Tour
Satruday: Barcelona to Girona
-Tour of Girona: Jewish quarter, Roman ruins and bath
-Free time in the afternoon in Girona
-Travel to L'Escala on the costa Brava
-Hotel in L'escala
Sunday:
Empuries Ruins
-Tour Empuries ruins
-Free time at the beach
-Return to BCN in the evening
-Transportation, guide, and hotel are included
Flight
Students will make their own flight arrangements. Students must be in the arrival city on a specific date, to be eligible for the airport transfer (date TBD).
Accommodations
-Students will stay in shared apartments and have access to fully-equipped kitchens.
-
Students will have private rooms with desks, and share common areas with other ACC students. -Students will be assigned to apartments based on gender.
-There are 3-5 rooms per apartment.
-There is a laundry facility on the premises.
-Apartments do not have air condition. (This is common in Europe).
-Utlitlies, WIFI, and weekly maid service are included.
Meals
Meals are not included in the program fee.
