ACC 101

A web-based tutorial for students, ACC 101 is designed to provide guidance through the admissions and registration process while preparing students to get the most out of advising sessions.

Apply Texas

Apply Texas offers a centralized means for students to apply to any Texas public university, as well as to participating community and private colleges. Students may also copy a submitted application to another institution, submit application essays online, apply for scholarships & housing, and search for general and university-specific information.

College Connection Checklist

College Connection students who have not submitted a residency form, completed the assessment, or completed the advising process at their high school should contact an ACC advisor for assistance. Students who test into more than one developmental course should bring their proposed schedule to the nearest ACC campus where advisors can provide registration assistance. All other students should follow this checklist.

Transfer Academy

ACC's Transfer Academy offers hands-on assistance during three free sessions to make it simple for students to plan a successful transfer to a four-year college or university. First, advisors review things like admissions application and deadlines, financial considerations, and tips for acclimating to a new school. Then students participate in an interactive Q&A session with university recruiters. The program concludes with a tour of regional universities. The first session is offered at every ACC campus. Visit the Transfer Academy page for schedules and contacts on each campus.

University Articulation & Transfer Resources

ACC has articulation agreements with over 40 universities to support student transfers. These agreements often include the minimum GPA required for admission, the number of credit hours that will transfer, and transferable courses for specific degrees or majors. A complete list of resources is available on the ACC's Articulation and Transfer Resources page.

Bridge Program

If a student's COMPASS or ASSET assessment scores are slightly below state standards, ACC's Bridge Program is designed to help them quickly meet the requirements to enroll in college classes without taking Developmental Education. The program's intensive 40-to 45-minute sessions in reading, writing, and mathematics are customized to each student's individual knowledge gaps.

What ACC Offers

All of the degree and certificate programs offered by ACC can be found at the Awards Plans page. They are organized alphabetically by discipline.
