Composition I

Withdrawals and Incompletes

• Students who miss more than two lecture classes or become more than 1 paper behind the C plan due dates may be dropped from the course. It is your responsibility to check with me about your status if you are in danger of being dropped. November 26 is the last day to withdraw.

• Incompletes may be requested only in very extreme circumstances. You must bring documentation of the circumstances and fill out an incomplete form before an incomplete may be granted. Getting busy and not doing your assignments is not an extreme circumstance. You may not take an incomplete to try for a higher grade than C.

• December 13 is the last class day. No papers will be accepted after the end of class on that day. If you have not passed the C exam, have not withdrawn from the course, or have not been granted an incomplete by the end of class on that day, you will receive a grade of F for the course.
