TESTING CENTER GUIDELINES

The C test must be taken in the testing center. Your experience in the testing center will be more pleasant if you remember a few simple rules.

• To take a test, you must present the test permit from me, a photo ID and a current ACC student ID.

• Students may bring a dictionary and/or a thesaurus to the testing center. A foreign language dictionary is allowed.

• The testing center staff will select the essay you are given by random draw.

• You may not take any notes into the testing room.

• Computerized testing is not available. You must write the test by hand. You may want to write in pencil so you can make corrections without recopying and save time. Please write on both sides of the paper and write on every line. Use a title on the first page above text.

• The testing center becomes very crowded toward the end of the semester. Try to test as early in the week as possible and as early in the day as possible.

• To retest, you must have a permit from me marked "Retest."
