Problem: If 1 / d = x / y then d = If 1 / d = (x + b) / y then d = If 1 / d = b + (x / y) then d = ( Hint: b = (by) / y )   Answers:   If 1 / d = x / y then d = y / x (Flip Over)   If 1 / d = (x + b) / y then d = y / (x + b) (Flip Over)   b + (x / y) = (by / y) + (x / y) = (by + x) / y.
