I have taught writing courses at St. Edward's University; since 1995. These days, my focus is teaching creative writing courses in the Master of Liberal Arts and New College programs. It's a lot of fun and a big challenge.

For six years I advised the student newspaper, Hilltop Views, and was in 2004 named adviser of the year by the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association.
