To satisfy the requirements for online orientation, go to Blackboard and complete the orientation quiz. You have not officially “shown up” for the class until you do. Also, leave a note to the rest of the class on the discussion board. NOTE: BLACKBOARD WILL BE OPEN TO YOU A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE START OF CLASSES.

The course focuses on memoir writing and you will complete three longish pieces, with the seeds for those coming from a series of craft exercises.

The textbook is: Writing Life Stories by Bill Roorbach SECOND EDITION ONLY! (available very inexpensively on Amazon.com)
